Inner Wheel Club of Sedgemoor
Chartered 19th May 1989
Meet at The Walnut Tree, North Petherton TA6 6QA
at 19.00 on the 2nd Wednesday of the month
We celebrated World Inner Wheel Day on 10th January individually at home, doing the usual trimming of stamps, knitting blankets, cuffs and squares, making breast cushions etc., although we all missed Lindy’s delicious soups that were always the mainstay of our annual gathering.
We enjoyed our Christmas meal with the men in December!! Lots of photos to peruse!
One minute we are busy making Breast Care Cushions and the next walking to raise funds for the Stroke Association! Strangely, no photos of the accompanying "refreshments"!
Glenys and Tony opened up their lovely home and garden for us and gave us the chance to catch up with both familiar and new faces. It was a lovely afternoon, with friendship and fun in great abundance plus the weather behaved long enough for us all to enjoy being outside.
It looks as though the men were well catered for!
Members enjoyed our handover with the presentation being made by the ever present brolly, just in case!
This was held in our outgoing President's beautiful garden, with us individually taking a picnic, and soft drinks being provided by our hostess. All rounded off with a delightful glass of bubbly at the end to celebrate.
Just a sample of the Lockdown Easter Bonnets!
Members from Sedgemoor produce the most amazing selection of hand crafts and baking - they have many other talents besides and enjoy a good murder mystery!
